For the last several weeks since January, Prince William and Kate have been busy with various royal engagements. But from Feb. 17 to Feb. 21, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are taking a break from their royal work.

According to People, Prince William and Kate won't have work commitments for a week because school is out for their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The young royals are currently enrolled at Thomas's Battersea in London, which will have its half-term break for the school year.

The week off might find the Cambridges traveling for their royal break, per Hello! Prince William, Kate, and the kids might spend their break at their country home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Last year, the Cambridge kids spent their school break swimming at their Norfolk estate. Reports stated that Prince George and Princess Charlotte learned to swim and grew confident in the water. Prince George also loves his childhood home because he can farm and play tractors at Anmer Hall.

However, it's also possible Prince William and Kate will bring their children on a ski trip. In 2016, the family spent a week in France with their young kids.

Princess Charlotte has French classes in her curriculum at Thomas's Battersea. As a Reception pupil, she's also required to have ballet, music, reading, computing, and math. Prince George, on the other hand, also has ballet classes for his first year. Sources close to the family said that the Cambridges are very happy at Thomas's Battersea.

The third in line to the throne started going to Thomas's Battersea in 2017 after finishing nursery school at Willcocks Nursery School. On the other hand, his sister had her first day in the London school last September 2019 and was more confident at meeting her teachers than her big brother.

As much as possible, Prince William and Kate try to raise their children in a normal environment, where parents have school runs and are involved in school activities. In November 2019, Kate went to a Chelsea pub to attend a meet and greet organized by the other moms and dads of the children at Thomas's Battersea.

According to Daily Mail, the Duchess of Cambridge wasn't seen going in and out of the pub by the media because she apparently used a discreet entrance. She also had one protection officer and was able to enjoy a few drinks while chatting with the other parents.
