Princess Beatrice is set to tie the knot with fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29. There are speculations, however, that she won't be inviting her cousin Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.

According to royal expert Camilla Tominey, Princess Beatrice could be a little worried that Meghan will upstage her on her big wedding day. Royal fans will undoubtedly be on the lookout for the Sussex royals, given their controversial exit in the royal family.

Tominey pointed out that while other royal weddings have guests by the thousands, Princess Beatrice's wedding is taking place at a tiny venue, which only holds 150 guests. A small wedding will, no doubt, make the Sussexes stand out even more. Thus, Princess Beatrice is within reason to worry about being upstaged.

Though Princess Beatrice hasn't released a wedding guest list, Prince Harry and Meghan are expected to be at the royal wedding since they are still part of the family. But tensions between the Yorks and Meghan were reported last year when the ladies were upstaging each other.

According to a source, there's a secret feud between the York princesses and the Duchess of Sussex. When Meghan announced her pregnancy in 2018, it coincided with Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank. When Meghan allegedly stole Eugenie's thunder, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, dropped a series of wedding photos right after Meghan's pregnancy announcement.

Hello! correspondent Danielle Stacey, however, has a different take. She said that Prince Harry and Meghan will be at the wedding of Princess Beatrice because she is very close to her cousin. The Sussexes were also at the royal wedding of Princess Eugenie, and the Yorks were there to witness Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding as well.

Meghan will not have a special role at Princess Beatrice's big day, just like the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. Both women will be low-key as they did when Princess Eugenie was married.

Since the Chapel Royal at St. James Palace is also very intimate, it will give the royal family a time to catch up with each other. Queen Elizabeth also asked her family to be united for Princess Beatrice's big day. She is expecting that this will be the big event that brings the royals back together again amid the rumored rifts and controversies.

Meanwhile, before Princess Beatrice's wedding, the royal family is expected to be reunited in March for Commonwealth Day. Queen Elizabeth wants a united front for the service at Westminster Abbey, and Prince Harry and Meghan are expected to be there as well.
