Kate Middleton is a lot busier today than she used to be in previous years. As claimed by various publications, her role as the Duchess of Cambridge became "pivotal" for the British Royal Family and the Crown.

Following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's exit a few weeks ago, it is only suitable as to why she has to step up her game. As it appears, the duties and responsibilities left by the Sussex couple have been passed on to the Cambridges.

According to Express UK, royal correspondent Angela Mollard shared in an episode of the ROYALS podcast that Kate Middleton, as well as Prince William, will have more "responsibilities" this year. In fact, this dynamic has already started shortly after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their royal exit.

While the Heir Apparent, alongside his firstborn son, the Duke of Cambridge, has been already seen in various "high profile" events, much higher than what they used to participate in, it was noted that the Duchess of Cambridge will likely be the center of it all.

The royal correspondent further explained that the British Royal Family is now "very contained," which makes it a lot easier for the Crown in terms of outlining the duties and responsibilities. As it happened, before the Sussex couple's exit, the public also witnessed how Prince Andrew decided to withdraw from his official royal duties. Accordingly, the center of the Firm now is on the members of the Royal Family that are very significant to the Crown, the reports added.

Insider previously reported the same narrative that the Megxit will be a stepping stone for Kate Middleton to "shine" further. With Meghan Markle gone in the picture, the focus will be very much inclined toward the Duchess of Cambridge.

For the past few weeks, she already did numerous royal engagements and public appearances as per reports. Not to mention, she also started a new survey of hers benefiting the cause of childhood development.

All of the "stepping up" did by Kate Middleton, as well as Prince William and Prince Charles, were noted "impeccable" and outstanding. It was even deemed as proof that the British Monarchy is moving forward.

However, the same publications recently revealed that this is likely also because of the Queen's "personal sadness." After the Duke of York's early retirement, followed by the Sussex couple's exit, Autumn and Peter Phillips announced that they are now officially separating from each other.

These unfortunate events in the past few months reportedly made the Queen sad in her own way. But, even so, it was claimed that she just felt "sad personally," and nothing to do with the Crown's movement in the future.
