Rumors have been circling the K-pop world that BLACKPINK may be having their TV documentary of their own. The documentary could be released by Netflix, the network that used BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" song on its film, To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.

BLACKPINK fans discovered the supposed documentary while searching "BLACKPINK" on Netflix. Apparently, the "Untitled Blackpink Feature Documentary" showed up as a related title. The speculations quickly spread on social media.

It looks like BLINKs have been searching for the group on Netflix after the network released this week its teen rom-com movie To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. "Kill This Love" was used in the film. It can be heard playing in the background while lead character Lara Jean (Lana Condor) is seen dressing up.

Netflix has yet to release an official confirmation about the rumored BLACKPINK featured documentary. However, according to Koreaboo, one fan reached out to the streaming network on Twitter to ask about the release date of BLACKPINK's documentary. Netflix has indirectly confirmed the speculation by not denying that they will release such a project in the future.

BLINKs believe that if there will be a feature documentary about Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, it could be about the girls' journey and how they made it to the U.S market. It could also showcase the plans of the quartet this year.

Many fans of the K-pop girl group are excited about the possibility of a Netflix documentary. However, some fans expressed hope that the featured Netflix documentary will not be like BLACKPINK Diaries or BLACKPINK House, which were both released on VLive and YouTube.

Many also said they would prefer a comeback from the "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" hitmakers rather than an hour-long documentary. The group's last comeback was in April 2019 when they released their hit album, Kill This Love. Since then, BLINKs have been waiting for a comeback from the group.

Meanwhile, Netflix is likely to release a documentary about BLACKPINK or any other K-pop group since it has been constantly releasing content from South Korean over the past years. However, many of these are K-dramas.

In addition, the streaming giant has a standing working history with YG Entertainment, the BLACKPINK's agency. It aired the series, YG Future Strategy Office, which starred BIGBANG former member Seungri and other YG talents. BLACKPINK also made a special appearance in it. YG Future Strategy Office has eight episodes and was released in 2018.
