Last year, there were rumors that Apple is planning to release its 2020 iPad Pro series in the first quarter of this year. A new report, however, claims that Apple might delay the arrival of the iPad Pro to the third quarter of this year. The 2020 iPad Pro series would launch alongside Apple's next flagship smartphone in Sept.

The latest report comes from Digitimes, which has been accurately giving us information about upcoming products and technologies in the industry. The same publication last month reveals that Apple would source the antenna for its 2020 iPad Pro from Advanced System Engineering (ASE). A Sept. release date for the premium tablet computer is unlikely but not impossible.

Apple usually launches its iPad series in Oct., but it might have a good reason for releasing the 2020 iPad Pro on the said release window, granting that the report is accurate. Last year, TFI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple might launch the 2020 iPad Pro in the first quarter of this year. Digitimes also reported that the next-generation iPad Pro would have a 5G variant that would house Apple's A14x Bionic chip.

Earlier reports suggested possible specs and features of the 2020 iPad Pro. It includes a similar design as its predecessor, which looks contemporary. Bloomberg mentioned in a report last year that Apple might equip the upcoming premium tablet with a 3D sensing technology. This new technology is more secure than the FaceID and would not cover a lot of space on the iPad.

Kuo also predicted that the 2020 iPad Pro might feature a mini-LCD with 10,000 LEDs. Last month, a new report revealed that Apple is working on a new accessory for the 2020 iPad Pro. It is a smart keyboard with a backlight that reportedly could double as the tablet's stand.

In terms of upgrades, the 2020 iPad Pro might come with a triple rear camera configuration. There are also speculations that Apple is preparing the 2020 iPad Pro to be a gaming tablet considering that the rumor of an integrated mouse and keyboard system is true. Several sites also released renders of the upcoming premium tablet computer from Apple based on earlier reports and speculations.

At this point, noting is official yet about the next generation of Apple iPad Pro. It is worth noting that while these specs and features are interesting, these are not yet official. We suggest taking this information with a considerable amount of salt and with skepticism.
