Concerned friends of Kate Middleton worry that she will have more work after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said they would like to step down from their royal duties. The Duchess of Cambridge, however, is reportedly "so happy" to be getting more responsibilities to cover for the void that the Sussex royals will leave behind.

Sources told The Sun that Kate is actually fine with taking on more work, as this means she will get a more prominent position in the causes she believes in. The source added that the Duchess of Cambridge is passionate about what she does so it makes her even happier to be able to bring more changes to those who need help.

Apparently, Kate visited many organizations in the last few weeks since it was confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan will be officially off the working royal family beginning spring 2020. The royal has been soaking information and speaking to experts to prepare her for the added roles.

The Duchess of Cambridge is also promoting her latest initiative in early childhood development with "5 Questions." The sources say this will steer more projects under the Royal Foundation with Prince William.

Speaking of the Royal Foundation, there was, apparently, a tug of war between Prince William and Prince Harry regarding the direction of the charity. Before Prince Harry and Meghan separated from the organization in 2019, to form their own Sussex Royal Foundation, the brothers couldn't agree on where to focus since Prince Harry wanted to carry his advocacies in the military.

Now that the Sussexes are on their own, Prince William and Kate can be to the front and center of the Royal Foundation to shape its charity to whatever the Cambridges want it to be.  The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are, apparently, sitting down for more meetings as they carve out their 2020 plans.

Meanwhile, with these latest developments, Kate is truly on her way of establishing her future role as the Queen Consort when Prince William becomes the King of England. It comes as royal observers see how much Kate has changed in nearly a decade since being a member of the royal family and the wife of the second in line to the throne.

Kate has come to embrace being an adoring mother, not just of her three children with Prince William, but also of the public. One source even told People that the former student has blossomed into the future Queen indeed.
