Jungkook may still be the maknae of BTS, but he is certainly not a little boy anymore. In fact, the 22-year-old singer, songwriter and record producer is the heaviest in the group despite being the youngest one.
Standing at 178 cm/5'10” tall and weighing about 70 kg/154 lbs., Jungkook can be considered as someone buff in Korean standard. But it seems like the BTS Golden Maknae keeps forgetting that he’s not that skinny boy during their rookie days anymore as he keeps on putting his shirt buttons to test.
BTS recently shared its BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo Sketch #2 on social media. The post showed a much brighter version of BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo version 3, and more relaxed and fun snaps for BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo version 4.
There were 14 solo shots and one group shot. The group snap was from BTS “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” Concept Photo version 3. The boys looked extremely dashing in their power suits as they enjoyed a feast of fruits and lobsters.
Sitting in the middle is Jungkook, who looked fierce in his dark suit and bowtie. However, it was hard not to see how his buttons were suffering as the BTS maknae expanded his chest and almost ripping out his shirt. (Check out the photo here).
This is certainly not the first time that Jungkook tested the quality of his button and shirt. Although the BTS star likes to wear loose shirts, sweaters, and pants, he is known for wearing tight tops during their performances and appearances. And since he always gives his best when dancing, there were times that he almost ripped his shirts off on stage. (Check out the photo here).
Sometimes, Jungkook didn’t have to do anything extreme and his buttons were already begging for mercy. His shirts just couldn’t catch a break even when the BTS star is just sitting down. (Check out the photo here).
Meanwhile, fans are expecting rapper Jungkook to make a comeback after BTS dropped its “Map Of The Soul: 7” tracklist. Their upcoming album has “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal” on the list that drove ARMYs into a frenzy.
“Wait, do you mean rapper Jungkook will make a comeback?” one fan asked. “Rapper Jungkook is back!” one wrote. “If rapper JK doesn’t come with total black eyeliner gangsta rebel package, what’s the point. I want total package Boss,” one ARMY shared.
Jungkook rapped in “We Are Bulletproof” parts one and two and many are hoping that he will revisit his rapper days in “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.”
