A month after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped their bombshell announcement; a royal analyst claimed the Duke of Sussex would be begging to return to the royal family. After he left his post as a senior member of the royal family, Meghan Markle's husband might plead to be a fully-working royal once again years after he decided to leave the monarchy.
Prince Harry almost gave up everything to have a more private life with his wife and nine-month-old son, Archie, in Canada. However, the Institute for Public Affairs' director Daniel Wild predicted he would soon return to his family to do his royal works.
In an appearance on Sky News, Wild said it might only take a few years before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "star burns out," per Express. He, then, talked about their celebrity status and their advocacy against climate change that opposed their lifestyle.
"Really, at the end of this, there's a lot of push back again celebrities being hypocrites on climate change, and there are no greater hypocrites than Harry and Meghan being the mouthpiece for it," he revealed. "So I suspect this will last a couple of years, and then I wouldn't be surprised if Harry was begging to rejoin the Royal Family."
The Bolt Report host Andrew Bolt added that Prince Harry would put an end to his "tantrum" in a few years and would return to the royal family because of his "sense of duty." As he was born into a royal family and grew up with royal duties, he is someone who is linked to serving his people
Although he doesn't like to be second to his brother, Prince William, and an alleged spare to the future king, he will one day miss the sense of duty and return to do it. Bolt then said that there is no such "sense of duty in the royals getting money."
Talking about duties, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are yet to finish their royal tasks despite their move to Canada. Queen Elizabeth II requested the two to return to the U.K. and rejoin the royal family for the upcoming Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on March 9, The Sunday Times noted.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to bring Archie with them for their "final round of official engagements." To recall, the two announced their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family, be financially independent, and divide their time between the U.K. and North America.
