Along with the removal of their HRH titles, Queen Elizabeth II, recently, bans Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from using the royal brand, the Sussex Royal. The decision comes after the Sussexes decided to leave the monarchy due to the Duchess of Sussex's alleged discomfort for not being the "top dog."
TalkRADIO host Mike Graham assumed the former actress didn't like being told what to do. "One of the reasons we are told that she left the Royal Family is because she wasn't that comfortable about not being the top dog," he said, via Express. It even includes her inability to "pull everybody's strings and get what she wanted."
Hence, he believed Meghan Markle would be raging about the banning of using their royal brand. Royal historian Dr. Anna Whitlock disagreed with Graham, saying it was a "little unfair" to say that to Prince Harry's wife.
Graham, then, explained that if Prince Harry didn't marry Meghan Markle, he wouldn't leave the U.K and break with his family. However, Whitlock defended the former Suits star, adding the Duke of Sussex has been complaining about his discomfort in the royal family even before he met his now-spouse.
Anyhow, Whitlock believed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tried to "cash in on the royal brand" despite their decision to leave the royal family. Graham even added that the royal couple capitalized on being part of the clan, although they left their senior roles.
Hence, as Queen Elizabeth banned them from using Sussex Royal as their brand name, it would surely be a big blow for the two. "It is, and I think it is something that they wouldn't have seen coming," Whitlock said.
According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to stop using their Sussex Royal label after deciding to step down as senior members of the royal family. After lengthy and complicated talks between Her Majesty and other senior officials, they all agreed that it is no longer suitable for them to continue using the word "royal" in their branding.
Sadly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have put a lot of effort into using Sussex Royal as their brand. They have spent a lot of money to use it as the name of their website and their Instagram account.
They even registered Sussex Royal as their global trademark to be used in their different activities and merchandise, like clothing, stationery, books, and teaching materials. They, too, have been arranging their new charitable organization with the same name. However, from the looks of it, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to rebrand.
