Prince William and Harry might be on separate paths today as grown-ups but in their younger years, the royal brothers were very close. Prince Charles' sons were like two peas in a pod that they even shared the same classic all-time favorite dish.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady, who served the royal family for 15 years, revealed that Prince William and Harry love to eat one comfort food over and over. Their favorite dish is cottage pie, also called shepherd's pie, which is a filling combination of meat, finely chopped vegetables, and potatoes with lots of cream and cheese.
McGrady also shared that he is still in touch with the royal brothers. The royal cook sends the princes recipes and copies of his cookbooks regularly. In fact, he is proud to claim that he was the one who taught Prince Harry how to cook the roast chicken he served Meghan Markle when he proposed.
The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex apparently love eating and McGrady recalled that they used to spend their downtimes in the family kitchen to whip up some snacks and learn how to cook. It was McGrady who taught the boys how to check if the pasta is ready.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Harry are set to reunite in March after weeks of living in two different continents. The Duke of Sussex is returning to London from Canada with his wife and they will be joining the royal family for their last royal duty on Commonwealth Day.
A source, however, told Entertainment Tonight that since Prince Harry left for Canada, he has been talking more and more to his older brother on the phone. They are, apparently, "on better footing" compared to the reports coming out that they are feuding and growing distant.
Still, however, the source said that Prince William was slightly disappointed about Prince Harry's decision to step back from his royal role with Meghan. Effective April, Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer be called upon to represent the Queen at official royal functions.
Prince William still has the same concern for his younger brother as he always kept watch over Harry when they lost their mom at a tender age. But the reality is they are two grown men now, with different goals for their lives, as one is preparing to fulfil his destiny while the other wants a life away from the spotlight.
