Meghan Markle and Princess Beatrice have been the faces of many reports since the start of the year. In fact, they have been the focus of the public since their grand announcements.

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they are stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family. They also made their plans of becoming "financially independent" known to the public.

While the royal exit was granted by the Queen, it still came with reservations. The deal was then concluded through the "crisis talk" held in Sandringham.

After the deal, which has been now deemed as "Megxit", concluded, Buckingham Palace shortly announced the details of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding. It was said that the couple will tie the knot on May 29 inside the Chapel Royal.

According to Insider, several royal experts believe that these series of events that happened within the British Monarchy seemingly paved the way for the recent royal divorces to happen. As reported, Queen Elizabeth II's grandson, Peter Phillips, and wife, Autumn, announced that they will officially divorce considering that they have been separated since last year.

The same thing also happened with the Queen's nephew, David Armstrong-Jones, the Earl of Snowdon and his wife, Serena, the Countess of Snowdon. The now-separated couple also announced that they will be divorcing each other just after a few days the Phillips announced theirs.

These unfortunate events shocked the world considering that the Royal Family has been one of the most conservative families in the world who previously prohibited divorce after marriage. But, as per experts, these royal divorces would not happen if it not for Meghan Markle and Princess Beatrice.

Royal author, Nigel Cawthorne claimed that it all started with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's shocking decision to exit. Upon making the announcement, there has been a lot of commotion and bad publicity surrounding the Royal Family.

Thankfully, though, Princess Beatrice's wedding details seemingly "cooled down" these negative talks toward The Crown. Accordingly, this paved the way for the other royals to announce their divorces.

He then added that if the details of the wedding did not come out after Megxit, it is unlikely that the Phillipses and the Snowdon's would speak about their separations. But, since the bad publicity was likely covered by the good news, it is only logical that the royals took advantage of the moment.

Other royal experts, however, believe otherwise. Some claimed that these divorces did not happen because of Meghan Markle and Princess Beatrice. Rather, it all happened because they "all married into prison," one report concluded.
