Kate Middleton recently opened up about her experiences as a mother of her three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. In a rare podcast interview, the Duchess and the podcast host, Giovanna Fletcher talked about the challenges and struggles of motherhood.

It was said that this was the first time that the royal sat down and talked openly about her own struggles. This even allowed the Duchess to win the hearts of many royal fans and supporters because of her candor, which made her much more relatable to the public, especially to mothers.

According to Town & Country, Kate Middleton also shared her experiences during the first time she had a baby. In 2013, the Duchess gave birth to her and Prince William's firstborn son, Prince George.

She told Giovanna Fletcher, as well as the listeners of the podcast that it was "slightly terrifying" when she is about to walk the Lindo Wing and introduce her son to the world. As it happened, it has become a standard for the royals to give birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital. The publication also noted that this was where Princess Diana gave birth to both of her sons in 1982 and 1984.

The Duchess also shared what she felt about the crowd that was waiting for her and Prince George outside the Lindo Wing. She said that she won't lie but, it felt "terrifying."

Aside from the fact that this was her first time, she recalled how it truly felt to be an "inexperienced parent," which also applied to Prince William at that time. So, having a huge crowd right after she gave birth felt challenging.

Even so, Kate Middleton reportedly explained that she and her husband were grateful for the support of their family and the public. She then stressed out how "important" it was for her to be able to share the "joy and appreciation" that she felt toward the public. Amid all these sentiments, though, the Duchess of Cambridge then concluded that it was all "mixed emotions."

As per Express UK, it has been already known to the public that Kate Middleton always had challenging pregnancies. It was repeatedly revealed to the public that she "suffered" from severe cases of morning sickness, especially at the start of each of her pregnancies.

Accordingly, aside from the struggles that she experienced because of the illness, she reportedly shared how it was all difficult as well for the people that surround her. Nevertheless, Giovanna Fletcher, later on, revealed that Kate Middleton always seemed so happy, especially when she talks about her kids with others.
