Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's so-called Megxit has been the talk of the town since they dropped their bombshell announcement last month. Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly tired of this issue and wanted it to be over and done. However, a new report revealed that Sussexes felt like there were being "victimized" by the Queen herself after she banned them from using the word royal in their brand.

The latest update on their Megxit deal reportedly made the royal couple furious behind closed doors. Royal insider Richard Fitzwilliams claimed they are "very, very unhappy" with Her Majesty's decision not to let them use the term royal in their future branding. He, too, took notice of their "extraordinary statement," which said the Queen did not own the word royal.

In Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's official website, Sussex Royal, they noted that they accepted Queen Elizabeth's decision not to use the royal word in their branding. However, it seemed like they took a dig at the Palace by insisting that they could use the term outside the U.K. "There is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word 'Royal' overseas," the statement read.

The analyst told Australia's Sunrise, via Express, their alleged declaration was an "unnecessary potshot" at Queen Elizabeth. By the looks of it, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to make a point with their statement, although they didn't need to.

Fitzwilliams also added that they also felt being victimized for being under 12-month probation. He then explained that Queen Elizabeth only did what she had to do as they wanted to remain as part-time working royals and to continue using their HRH titles despite their decision to step back from their royal duties. "Harry should have shown more humility," he said.

Hence, it looks like Queen Elizabeth is now over the royal exit and will instead choose not to think or even think of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step down as senior members of the royal family. In a report by Vanity Fair, a source revealed that the Queen doesn't want to talk about her grandson and granddaughter-in-law's departure. In fact, she desperately wants this issue to end and gets resolved as it damages the monarchy.

She, too, seems to be personally hurt about it and is still very upset. Queen Elizabeth is reportedly already on the point that she doesn't want to talk about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit, wishing for it to be just "over and done."
