BTS ARMY is one, if not the most, devoted fandom in the world at the moment. If BTS or a fan launches a dance challenge, the ARMY is on it 100 percent and will make it the top trending topic on social media in no time. The latest of which is the #InnerChildChallenge which is inspired by BTS member V's solo song in the new album Map of the Soul: 7.

Kim Taehyung's solo track, "Inner Child," is one of the touching and inspirational songs in the album. V talks about her past self in the song and how the difficulties he experienced in the past brought him to where he is now.

According to Big Hit Entertainment, "Inner Child" reflects V's past self, who was going through a difficult time. Though the BTS label did not give specifics about that part of V's life, the group's fans have known Taehyung's history.

He came from a family of farmers in Daegu, South Korea. The "Singularity" crooner is known in the K-pop industry as a social butterfly, a trait that he has even when he was a student in Daegu. But there was a time when it backfired on him.

In one of his VLive broadcasts, V comforted a fan who was having trouble with a friend. He opened up about his own experience from his elementary school days when he got snubbed from a birthday party of a friend. He later found out that his pal was jealous of him because Taehyung has lots of friends at school and he got along with people.

Then V also experienced hardship when he joined Big Hit as a trainee and later on, debuted as of the seven members of BTS. The group's underdog story when they were starting in the industry has been their inspiration to strive harder.

Now, BTS ARMY is channeling the inner child in them and sharing snippets of their past self on social media for the #InnerChildChallenge. Many are digging their old child photos and posting them on Twitter along with their new photo and a message about themselves.

Many fans shared what is the "inner child" in them and expressed how proud they are of who they become today. Some also shared how they hit rock bottom at one point in their life and almost give up and grateful that they didn't.

"Growing up is going to be tough but nothing is wrong with you no matter what the bullies say. It does get better. One day, you'll understand. We gon' change. I got your back cuz you're my boy, my boy, my boy. #InnerChildChallenge," YouTuber and avid BTS ARMY Jose wrote.

A fan shared how she was torn between Med school and her passion for arts. Another expressed how grateful she was for surviving tough times and yet keeping the happy soul of a child in her.
