Outlander season 5 episode 3 will be airing later this week on Starz, with the title "Free Will." This episode will bring new conflict and chaos, and will also introduce the Beardsley family. Although it's uncertain what would be their role, they may probably have important roles to the Frasers.
Outlander season 5 episode 3 will be introducing some new characters, particularly the Beardsley. In the episode promo, the Frasers received a tip-off from a young thief and they decided to visit the Beardsley's home. Jamie and Claire were told not to go upstairs, but Claire discovered something in there that seemed to shock her.
What they uncover up there might be different from what they've expected. There is no further detail about the Beardsley family, but they're the newest additions in the new season. Paul Gorman will play the roles of 14-year-old twins Josiah and Kezzie Beardsley.
In the book, these two live with Aaron Beardsley; a cruel man who bought them when they were kids. Jamie also allowed them to stay at the Ridge, so they may have an important part this season. Meanwhile, Bronwyn James will portray the character, Fanny Beardsley. Aaron also bought her, but he then decided to marry her.
In another part of Outlander season 5 episode 3, Stephen Bonnet is still out there lurking somewhere. Jamie and Claire knew Bonnet is still alive, but they didn't know that Brianna is also aware of him being alive. This may cause a huge problem this season, especially since Brianna has been through a lot in the previous installment.
Bonnet is one of the horrific characters in the series and brought Brianna huge and terrible trauma. Although she is now married to Roger, the trauma caused by Bonnet still hunts her. Now, he could be out there and just planning something to cause chaos later on.
He may not be going anywhere as well, especially since he's aware of Brianna's child. It can be recalled that she visited him in prison and told him that the baby was his. Although she didn't regret going there, Brianna knew Bonnet had a strange vested interest in the child.
This may cause more fear to Brianna; knowing that Bonnet was still alive. He was once presumed dead but it's now certain that he's just hiding somewhere. What Brianna needs to do now is to protect her child and prepare herself for the possibility of Bonnet's appearance.
