Prince Harry is now in the United Kingdom. The Duke of Sussex was seen carrying his bags at the Waverley station in Edinburgh, Scotland as he embarks on his final royal engagements.
The royal was without his wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie Harrison upon his return. According to Edinburgh Evening News, Prince Harry is set to host a tourism summit sponsored by Travalyst in the Scotland capital. The timely event comes as Edinburgh was named one of the worst-affected over-tourism hotspots in the world in 2019.
Reports stated that Prince Harry went ahead of his family and entourage as he flew back to the U.K. Meghan is expected to return as well as she is also undertaking her last rounds of royal engagements in the next three weeks.
On Feb. 28, Prince Harry will be overseeing the recording of the Invictus Games theme song with Jon Bon Jovi and the Invictus Games Choir. On March 5, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be gracing the Endeavour Fund Awards for the Armed Forces community.
The duke will also be at the opening of the Silverstone Experience with Lewis Hamilton for Formula 1. The couple will then be attending the Mountbatten Music Festival.
Meghan will have her solo event at the International Women's Day celebrations in London. She might also be at the British Vogue launch of its Forces of Change initiative. Then, on March 9, Prince Harry and Meghan will be publicly seen together with the royal family as they attend the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey.
It's unclear, however, if the couple will be bringing Archie to London. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not bring their son on their last travel to the United States, which lasted for four days.
According to Ken Wharfe, who worked as a former royal protection officer, Prince Harry and Meghan were right to have Archie stay at home in Vancouver while his parents traveled. The expert said that having a royal baby during their trips only adds to the security risks.
However, since Prince Harry and Meghan will be in the U.K. until after March 9, it's likely that the Sussexes will bring their son along. The Queen also reportedly requested that they bring their baby upon their return.
Prince Harry and Meghan will be officially stepping down from their royal roles on March 31. By April, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be announcing their endeavours as private individuals.
