BIGBANG is all set for their much-anticipated comeback after more than two years in hiatus to complete the members' mandatory military enlistment. BIGBANG will perform on stage for Coachella 2020 as a four-man team made up of leader G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang and Daesung.

According to a report by Kpopstarz, BIGBANG's VIP is celebrating the April stage comeback by trending #BigBangIsAlive and #BIGBANGCoachella2020.It was earlier feared that BIGBANG will pull out of the Coachella 2020 performance in Indio, California amid the Coronavirus (COVID 19) scare that is prompting other Kpop groups to cancel concerts and shows in different parts of the world.

While fans are excited to see BIGBANG, once called the Kings of Kpop, rule the stage again after their long hiatus, they are also nervous to see the group perform for the first time without their maknae Seungri, who announced his retirement from the entertainment industry after he was embroiled in the Burning Sun scandal. Amid legal woes, Seungri is now preparing to enlist in the military after he initially postponed his service to answer the allegations against him.

Fans are also doubly happy that the Coachella 2020 show will push through after T.O.P hinted that he will also be permanently retiring from performing and making music in multiple interactions with fans after his discharge last July.

On one occasion, after receiving a negative comment on one of his Instagram posts, T.O.P said that he does not intend to come back to the spotlight. After he posted a potential collaboration with another artist for what appeared to be new music, he also answered a fan that it was not for them.In his most recent interaction with fans, he said that he wanted to show his supporters how he is doing. However, he shockingly made a statement that he will never return to the music scene in Korea.

"I'm not going to make a comeback in Korea. I just don't want to do the comeback itself. My friends are against it. People are just wicked," he said.

It can be recalled that TOP received his fair share of criticism during his enlistment when he was involved in a marijuana scandal with former YG trainee Ahn Seo Hee, who also figured in separate drug scandals with MONSTA X and iKON's B.I.

At the height of criticism, TOP was rushed to the hospital and remained unconscious for a few days in what was believed to be a suicide attempt as a result of the negative backlash of the investigation.

Taeyang has mainly lied low after his November discharge while G-Dragon has been ruling the fashion scene with his collaborations with Nike for a limited edition Paranoise sneaker line and appearances at Paris Fashion Week.
