Prince Harry was at Buckingham Palace for most of the day on Tuesday, March 4. The Duke of Sussex was Queen Elizabeth's official residence as he met with his London team to hash out his final royal engagements with his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

According to Daily Mail, Prince Harry was spotted leaving Buckingham Palace in the afternoon and happily waved to the crowd of well-wishers outside. It's not known, however, if he also met and spoke with Queen Elizabeth while he was in her London residence.

The Queen was also at Buckingham Palace on the day of Prince Harry's visit. Her Majesty was in several meetings, including an audience with the President of Malta and the ambassador to Cuba.

Last Sunday, March 1, Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth spent lunch together at her home in Windsor Palace. According to The Sun, Her Majesty and the Duke of Sussex had a heart-to-heart talk over his future and his plans after officially stepping back from the royal family on March 31. h

Sources told the news outlet that the special lunch hopefully cleared the air between the grandmother and the grandson. Queen Elizabeth was said to have assured Prince Harry that he and Meghan are always welcome in to return to the royal family.

Prince Harry apparently requested the lunch with his grandmother. The last time they talked and saw each other was during the crisis meeting in Sandringham with Prince Charles and Prince William last January.

The crisis talks came after Prince Harry and Meghan told the public that they want to step down as senior members of the royal family. They also announced that they will be staying in North America to pursue new ventures that will make them financially independent from the Sovereign Grant.

Sources told the Daily Mail that Prince Harry usually sees his grandmother for tea whenever she's in Windsor Castle. The Queen's home is just a few blocks away from Frogmore Cottage, the Sussex's official residence in London.

Meanwhile, Meghan is expected to arrive soon to join Prince Harry for their last rounds of royal engagements for Queen Elizabeth. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected at the Endeavour Fund Awards and the Mountbatten Festival of Music in the next few days.

The Sussex pair will also be reunited with Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, on Monday, March 9, for the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey. It's unclear, however, how long Prince Harry and Meghan will be in London if they are finished with their royal duties.
