Justin Bieber announced his world concert tour even before he dropped his new album, Changes, last month. The tour is set to kick off on May 14, 2020 in Seattle, Washington and so far, the last tour date announced is in September. However, rumors have it that Bieber is having a hard time selling out his tour dates.

The National Enquirer made a claim that Bieber has lost his appeal to the music industry. The tabloid cited a source as saying taking a hiatus for a few years took a toll on the singer's career. The insider added that the "Yummy" singer's transition from teen to adult pop star is the problem.

"Nobody can blame him after he gave his teen years for his pop career, but it looks like it's come at the sacrifice of his popularity as an adult. The music industry is a tough place!" the source said.

Gossip Cop disagreed with the National Enquirer claim. It noted that it is quite unfair to claim that Bieber's comeback suffers because of his decision to take a break from the spotlight.

This claim has been proven wrong by the fact that Justin's new album, Changes, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts and it was also well-received around the world. The singer has also sold out his tour dates in his home country, Canada.

What the National Inquirer forgot to mention is the thing that has been affecting basically all industries today: the coronavirus. Gossip Cop noted that it checked in to a source close to Bieber who confirmed that COVID-19 is indeed affecting the singer's 45-show tour.

It is worthy to note that if Justin is having a hard time selling out tickets, he is not the only one. Some artists have sold out concerts but were forced to cancel events due to coronavirus.

Famous acts such as Mariah Carey, BTS, DJ Khalid, and more have announced that they have to either cancel or postpone their shows scheduled for the spring because of fear that the virus could spread in large gatherings and also due to travel restrictions. The upcoming James Bond movie also postponed its release from April until November because of the same reason.

So far, Justin has yet to make an announcement on whether or not he will postpone his tour dates particularly in Washington state where all of the COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. were recorded. The "Sorry" singer's tour is supposed to be his comeback on stage after he cut short his Purpose tour in 2015. Bieber's Changes tour will also feature Jaden Smith and Kehlani.
