It looks like even though Seungri left YG Entertainment about a year ago, some employees of the company still feel his presence and wish that he has gone to jail. An employee of YG sparked a conversation online after he posted a reply to a thread and mentioned Seungri.

In a Korean app for company employees, called Blind, one started a thread with the topic: "Tell me about one of the funniest things in your company life or work." Many employees of all sorts of companies shared their experiences at work but one caught the attention of everyone.

"Seungri not getting jailed," an anonymous YG employee wrote in response to the thread query.

Many users of the app reacted to the comment of the YG staff. Some poked fun of Seungri and the country's justice system as well as the prosecution team who handled the singer's cases. One also stated that he is worried about the well-being and safety of the YG employee.

"Wow, how can anyone beat this?" one wrote. "This is real-life comedy right here," another commented.

Apparently, Blind is an office-only app where users have to be authenticated using their company email before they can leave a comment. The name of the company or employee will not appear until all verification procedures have been completed.

Seungri recently triggered negative comments from netizens after he attended a farewell party with some of his friends from the controversial Burning Sun club. The group celebrated the singer's upcoming military enlistment.

The former BIGBANG member is set to start his military service on March 9 at the 6th Infantry Recruit Training Center in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province. Enlistment ceremonies for incoming trainees have been suspended due to coronavirus outbreak. Seungri is expected to be discharged on September 16, 2021.

The K-pop idol was originally set to enlist on March 25, 2019. However, it was delayed after he got involved in a number of scandals. He requested for postponement of his enlistment so he can participate in the investigation.

The "1, 2, 3!" singer had been under investigation for the past year for soliciting prostitution, embezzlement, bribery, illegal gambling, and more. Earlier this year, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office indicted Seungri along with 10 other individuals in relation to the Burning Sun case but without detention.

The trial on Seungri cases will be handed over to the military court. Korea's Military Manpower Administration assured that they will work closely with the prosecution to ensure a fair trial for the singer.
