Michelle Obama is definitely letting it loose now that she's no longer in the White House. The former First Lady was recently seen having fun at Christina Aguilera's Concert in Las Vegas.
In a video shared online, Obama was captured air slapping the booty of one of Aguilera's shirtless dancers who twerked in front of the ex-First Lady. Obama was said to be with her girlfriends as they enjoyed the night in Planet Hollywood.
Obama then got up on her seat to sing and dance to Aguilera's performance. She seemed to be having a great time with her girls and living the life of a retired public servant. The former First Lady was in Las Vegas for a business talk at the Ultimate Software Connections Conference earlier that day.
After her Vegas trip, Obama is set to host a rally in Detroit to encourage people to go out vote in the 2020 Presidential Elections. She will be headlining the event organized by When We All Vote on March 27 at the University of Detroit Mercy.
The press release stated that this rally is a free for anyone to attend, especially local students in college and high school. There will also be a raffle for some people to meet Obama face to face.
Obama has been working with When We All Vote since it launched in 2018. Though it claims to be a nonpartisan group, the perception is that it's still aligned with the Democrats since Obama is one of the co-chair of When We All Vote.
The former First Lady, however, is not endorsing a particular candidate for the Democratic Party for the 2020 midterm elections. Instead, she is focusing on making voters' voices be heard.
Obama has been encouraged to run for president in 2020 but the wife of President Barack Obama has no interest in taking a position in office. She said over and over when asked of her political plans that being in office won't allow her to lead a normal life.
She said that she lost anonymity when her husband became the president. While being anonymous is no longer possible for her today, she loves that she is able to enjoy some of life's simple pleasures at times since she's no longer a White House resident.
Obama said that eight years of being under scrutiny is enough. Now, it's time for other people to serve the White House as having fresh eyes in office is also good for the country. She said that it will be better for her to train the next leader of America behind the scenes.
