Hawaii Five-0 series finale is almost near and many were sad the series is ending after 10 seasons. A lot of fans were shocked about the decision to end the show, though the reason has been acceptable to many. But although the series is coming to an end, it will still deliver some exciting things in the finale. For instance, Chuck Norris will be appearing as a guest star in the two-part finale event.

In a report via TVLine, the Walker, Texas Ranger star Chuck Norris will be playing Lee Phillips in the two-hour event of Hawaii Five-0 series finale. The character is a retired sergeant major who's helping his mentee, a man named Lincoln Cole, who will be played by Lance Gross. Norris' character is helping him hide from the authority to protect his anonymity.

In addition, Phillips also trained Lincoln, who's now a decorated former Marine Gunnery Sergeant with the Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team. Thus, viewers can see Norris playing a badass role in the upcoming Hawaii Five-0 series finale. Moreover, many were also delighted to see the actor joining the team in the finale.

Meanwhile, as for why the series is ending, Deadline previously reported that series star Alex O'Loughlin (McGarrett) chose not to renew his contract. The actor, reportedly, suffered a serious back injury while filming the early seasons of the series. Since then, he's been dealing with the side effects, but he received stem cell treatment after season 8 -- which allowed him to return.

There were initial talks that the series would replace O'Loughlin and would bring a new partner alongside Scott Caan's Danno. However, all of them decided to wrap up the show and the 10th installment would be the final one. Although there were talks about the potential season 11, it seems like that plan has now changed.

In a related report, Katrina Law, who plays Quinn Liu, teased what viewers can expect in Hawaii Five-0 series finale. Speaking to TVLine, the actress said there are going to be a lot of shed tears, for several reasons. It would be difficult to say goodbye to the series, but Law teased they'll bring a beautiful ending scene wherein Peter Lenkov and the writers allowed the actors to say what they want.

The actress also shared that a lot of tears were shed on the day they're filming the scene and she wouldn't be surprised if the viewers will also cry because of that scene. Aside from the tears, Law also said the finale is action-packed and full of fun. Before shedding tears, she said viewers will have to see a "very emotional, action-packed ride" first.

Hawaii Five-0 series finale will air its two-part event on Friday, Apr. 3, on CBS.
