Princess Eugenie celebrated International Women's Day by honoring the women in her lives. After rumors emerged that she could be Princess Beatrice's maid of honor, the Princess of York added fuel to the fire when she showed her close bond to her sister.
Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's youngest daughter shared a black-and-white photo of herself and her goofy big sister and wrote an emotional caption. "What can I say? She's the greatest and has been there since I was born," she said, using the "tell them they are awesome" hashtag. "Beatrice has been an inspirational big sister since 1990."
Aside from her sibling, Princess Eugenie also honored other special women in her life, like her mom and her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, Hello! Magazine noted. Just like Princess Beatrice's photo, the 29-year-old royal chose a black-and-white solo photo of her mom and a colored snap of them when they were kids.
She said that the beautiful Sarah Ferguson had been her constant inspiration since the day she was born. Although she is now grown up, she has continuously taught her a lot of what it is to feel like an empowered woman.
Princess Eugenie also posted a young black-and-white image of Queen Elizabeth and a recent colored picture of her today. She called her "Her Majesty, the Queen, my grandmother" and praised her for dedicating her life to so many people. With her excellent example, she has continuously taught her so much until today.
Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie could play an important role in the upcoming wedding of her big sister in May. Business Times recently reported that she could be Princess Beatrice's maid of honor.
After the two princesses were seen having dinner at the private members' club Annabels' with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, it gave birth to rumors that they were planning something special for the royal wedding. The three had a low-key evening when they entered the place and left after midnight.
Their outing was considered to be a telltale sign that they were talking about the updoming nuptial. With Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's closeness, it is not far that the latter could play an important role when her big sister ties the knot.
Anyhow, Bea was also her little sister's maid of honor in her wedding with Jack Brooksbank in 2018. Although Princess Beatrice's nuptial is expected to be a bit different from other royal weddings, it will still follow the tradition of having bridesmaids, and Princess Eugenie may be one of them.
