Jungkook is an adrenaline junkie. Even though he is the youngest member of BTS, the 22-year-old singer, songwriter and record producer is known as one of the most, if not the most, fearless out of the bunch.
In fact, if there were extreme challenges on Run BTS! and Bon Voyage, Jungkook is not only ready to complete them, but he is very excited to do them. His enthusiasm can not be said the same with RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and V.
It is quite clear that Jungkook has completely no fear in heights, as he even jumped off a swing upside down in one of the episodes of Bon Voyage Season 4 in New Zealand. (Watch the clip here). The golden maknae was all smiles and even blew a kiss before taking off. (Watch the clip here).
Meanwhile Jin and J-Hope screamed their hearts out together during their turn. “Team Coward” even promised each other to always do scary challenges together as they give each other strength.
As for Jungkook, he moved on to another daring ride after the swing, called the “catapult,” which is a contraption that flings the rider into the horizon. This shows how fearless the BTS star really is. However, Jungkook proved that he’s human after all as he has something that he’s scared of just like the rest of us.
As it turns out, Jungkook is scared of the simplest things such as microwaves and balloons. The BTS star admitted that he’s always afraid that the microwave will blow up while using it. He’s also not a huge fan of things that pop.
In a previous live broadcast, J-hope was trying to open up a confetti pop and said, “Bang!” Jungkook quickly curled up, covered his face, and said, “Ah I’m scared of these types of things.” (Watch the clip here).
Every time there’s confetti or balloon, Jungkook will be seen covering his ears. (Watch the clip here). But when it comes to performing on stage for the ARMYs, the golden maknae appears to forget about his fears as he was never caught flinching even if there were stage fireworks. Jungkook always made sure to toughen up to give their fans the performance that they deserve.
While most celebrities who reached the superstardom status have forgotten where they came from, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook always remember how it all started.
Thanks to ARMYs, BTS is now living their dreams. And because of that, the boys feel immense gratitude towards the fans and they would do anything to let ARMYs know how much they love and appreciate them.
