Outlander season 5 episode 5 will be arriving later this week on Starz, with the title "Perpetual Adoration." This episode proved to be an intense one as it will see Jamie and Murtagh possibly in danger and their relationship might be at risk as well.
In Outlander season 5 episode 5, Jamie arrives at the Hillsborough along with his militia. There, they found out that Governor Tryon proposed an unorthodox solution to deal with the threats poses by the Regulators and to resolve the political crisis.
This leads to Jamie taking drastic action as his relationship with Murtagh is at risk of coming to light. Until now, Jamie and Murtagh have been working hard to make sure nothing happens to either of them. Murtagh believes in the Regulator moment, but he also cares for Jamie.
Jamie, on the other hand, is trying to protect his land and makes sure Murtagh would not take it back. Both of them are doing whatever they can to make it out alive of the crisis, but it wouldn't be easy for them as there would be twists and turns coming.
As for what else we can expect in Outlander season 5 episode 5, Roger and Brianna were busy with their present-day life at the Ridge. However, they must come to terms with their past after Roger discovers new information about Stephen Bonnet.
Brianna and Roger got married earlier this season, but Brianna soon discovered Bonnet wasn't really dead. This is a problem for her because this man assaulted her and caused a lot of trauma. Brianna must protect herself, as well as her son Jemmy from Bonnet.
While not everyone is talking about Bonnet at the moment, he's still one of the biggest threats to the Frasers, especially to Brianna. The character is probably just lurking out there, getting ready to cause chaos to the family. He may appear at some point this season, especially since Roger finds new information about him.
As for Claire, the upcoming episode will see her recalling an episode from her past that led her back to Jamie and she will also spend some time with Marsali. Claire and Marsali will be frequently seen working together this season and relationship is significant to their work around the Fraser Ridge.
Outlander season 5 episode 5 will be airing on Sunday night, Mar. 15, on Starz.
