Outlander season 5 episode 3 will be airing within a few days on Starz, with the title "Free Will." The Frasers will continue facing new chaos and conflicts in this episode, especially now that Brianna found out that Stephen Bonnet is alive. He is the man who assaulted her in the previous season, and now that he's lurking out there, this will be a new problem for Brianna and her husband, Roger.
So, what's next for Brianna and Roger in Outlander season 5 episode 3? Based on some of the photos of the next episode, it looks like the two were having a serious conversation. Although the content of their conversation is hard to interpret, it looks like they weren't talking about Bonnet being alive. The images seemed to suggest that Brianna is telling other things to her husband.
It might be hard for Brianna to tell Roger that Bonnet is still alive and hiding somewhere, as the latter has already caused a lot of trauma. She probably wants to forget everything, but it wouldn't be easy for her. She needs to protect her son, Jemmy, since Bonnet may show up anytime and claim the child. This is a major concern for her, as well as her husband and parents.
As for Roger, he may have some concerns as well since he discovered the drawings Brianna has been doing. He might be asking about those, but his wife may not tell him everything she knows. She may not also know how to start, considering that it's a sensitive and traumatic subject. Brianna hasn't also told anyone she overheard Jamie, and her parents weren't also aware she knew about Bonnet.
Meanwhile, there are still some questions whether or not Brianna and Roger could go back to their own time. Right now, things might be hard for them since it's still uncertain if they could bring Jemmy with them. Yet, these two will do everything they can so their son could travel with them, which is also a good way to escape all the troubles that follow them.
But aside from Brianna and Roger's storyline, Outlander season 5 episode 3 will also introduce the Beardsley family. It remains to be seen what would be their role, but they probably have important roles in the lives of the Frasers. Jamie and Claire also uncovered something about them, and the family might be different from what they've expected.
