Princess Anne, who is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, has been known for her wit and humor, especially when it comes to being sarcastic with the press. While this has caused bad publicity before the public in previous decades, several individuals now seemingly appreciate her "unique" responses in her past interviews. As it happened, netizens today reportedly deemed most of the questions asked toward her were "sexist."

According to Express UK, the Princess Royal, along with his then-fiancé, Mark Phillips, had a sit-down interview in 1973 after their engagement was officially announced. It was said that several individuals, especially of today, may find the questions asked quite "shocking."

Based on the publication, some of the questions included whether Princess Anne thinks that she will be a "good housewife," or if she can "cook" and even "sew." Although the Princess was reportedly "humoring" the interview despite her "visible annoyance," the latter questions may have seemed to push her to the limit.

As revealed, she ended up answering the questions by stating that she is not "totally useless." She even shared that she was "well-educated."

Some people who watched the interview in recent years reportedly claimed that it was only fitting how Princess Anne answered these "sexist" questions. She was even said to be praised by several individuals for her wit and humor.

The same publication also revealed another interview of hers in 1980, wherein the Princess Royal shared her sentiments over how the public held women from the Royal Family at a "different standard" than men. The interview was suggested to have concluded that the press was "selective" on the depiction of the members of the British Royal Family.

Princess Anne seemingly agreed with the thesis made by the host. She even went on to share that the men in the family were "allowed" to be more serious, while women were not allowed to be "funny" either.

These unearthed interviews were all recently shared to the public again after Meghan Markle reportedly made a speech in one of her recent engagements. It was reported that she surprised the students of a school in Dagenham last week to mark the International Women's Day.

As per the publication, the Duchess of Sussex touched mainly on "female empowerment" during the speech. She also reportedly discussed how the likes of Geraldine Dear, who was present at that event, was able to spark changes since their efforts produced the legislation of Britain's Equal Pay Act.
