A new report claims that Apple is working on a new fitness app not just for iPhones, but also for the Apple Watch and Apple TV. The upcoming app comes with guided fitness videos that users can download to help them achieve their health goals.

According to MacRumors, the fitness app, which is codenamed "Seymour," will simply be called Fitness or Fit upon its release. While it will work as a standalone app, it will be made available together with the Activity app as well. It's designed to work on iOS 14, tvOS14, and watchOS 7.

Apple's upcoming fitness app will allow users to download various fitness and training clips in line with their choice of workout or activity, serving as their guide to complete specific activities on the Apple Watch.

The videos can be watched on the Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad, and there's also a gallery representing different workout routines. All these can be synced to the Apple Watch, which seems to be the apparatus to track a user's progress.

What's more, it looks like the workouts are free of charge, at least as of writing. For now, there appear to be no associated costs or in-app purchases.

Users can expect different types of activities, including yoga, dance, outdoor walking, strength training, core training, stretching, rowing, cycling, and indoor running. Note that these features and the app itself haven't been officially confirmed by Apple.

Meanwhile, Apple is testing out a bunch of features for iMessage, including a new mention system, believed to be released alongside iOS 14 as well. The @ symbol can be used by users to specifically mention a user, who is then notified. Another feature expected to arrive together with the new mobile OS is the ability to delete or retract sent iMessages. However, the recipient will be notified that a text has been deleted.

More convenient features expected to be added on iMessage is an improved "/me" command for sharing status updates and a typing indicator for group chats. It's possible that these features will be added to macOS 10.16 as well.

The report emphasizes that the mentioned iMessage features may or may not ship alongside iOS 14, at least not on the same day it releases. More details about iOS 14 and the features and apps that come with it will be posted soon as they are made available. Apple is expected to make an official announcement in the coming days.
