Prince William and Kate Middleton recently went to Ireland for a royal visit. But aside from doing their engagements, the two seemed to show a major public display of affection. Although the royal couple is rarely seen being sweet to each other in public, they surprised everyone when they comfortably showed their love for each other in the open.
The Cambridges now seem at ease to show their love in public like they never did before. Royal fans in Ireland got a little treat when they showed some of their intimate moments out in the open.
HeirPod host and ABC News royal contributor Omid Scobie talked about the rare PDA Prince William and Kate Middleton showed in public during a talk to ITV royal producer and commentator Lizzie Robinson. He said, via Express, the pictures Kensington Palace shared showed the royal couple's intimate moments.
"They seem a lot more comfortable together as a couple in front cameras too," Scobie noticed. "We got a little bit more PDA than we're usually treated to."
Scobie assured that Prince William and Kate Middleton didn't go over the top but couldn't help to be surprised by their sweet moments in public, particularly the cliff walk they did. Their arms were linked, while in the distance from the cameras. When they got closer, they let go of each other.
There was also a shot on the top of the cliff, where they put their arms around each other while laughing at the cameras. It even made more dramatic with the Irish Sea background. So from the looks of it, they are now more comfortable showing their love in public and front of the cameras compared to the past.
In the same Ireland trip, Business Times recently reported that Prince William opened up about his love for Kate Middleton to a large crowd. On their last day in Galway City, a fan waited to see the Cambridges, and she successfully succeeded to meet them when the future king talked to her.
The royal fan, named Angela Moran, held a banner that featured the pair's royal wedding in 2011. After Prince William asked about the flag, Angela then expressed her admiration to the second in line to the throne and his wife. Angela then said she loves Kate Middleton, to which William replied he also loves the future queen consort. He then thanked her for her admiration and love.
