Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park and G-Dragon have been embroiled in dating rumors since the early days of their career and shippers have constantly floating dating rumors about them. Now, with over a decade of friendship between them, fans already want them to get married.
The revelation was made by Dara's friend No Hee Kyung in a recent broadcast of Video Star. No Hee Kyung, whom Dara's fans refer to as her mom in the entertainment industry shared the most fervent hope of BLACKJACKs and Daralings that she has interacted with, Koreaboo reported.
"I'm probably going to get scolded if I say this but... They tell me to get Sandara to marry G-Dragon," No Hee Kyung said about her interactions with Dara's fans.
According to her, she has not figured out the proper way to respond to the request she is always shocked by it. Dara, who was listening to her statement, simply laughed out loud at her reaction. Fans have been shipping Dara and G-Dragon for years despite their constant denials of a romantic relationship.
Known to fans by the ship name Daragon or Nyongdal, fans who ship them are also known as Applers whose main goal is to compile evidence of a potential romance between the two. Over the years, they have compiled a lot of sweet moments that hints at the possibility of dating.
For the longest time, fans have believed that Dara and G-Dragon are an endgame couple despite their denials of a dating relationship because they specially treat each other.
At the height of BIGBANG's MADE Tour in 2017, the pair courted controversy when they left the venue with G-Dragon protecting Sandara from the paparazzi.
Before G-Dragon entered the military, he went on his MOTTE World Tour and tapped Dara to be his special guest for the Manila and Kuala Lumpur legs of his concert series. Most recently, Dara was the only celebrity to receive not only one pair of G-dragon's limited edition Paranoise collaboration with Nike. She received three pairs of customized sneakers from the BIGBANG leader, Annyeong Oppa reported. Dara also flexed her closeness with GD recently when she called him from her phone during a live broadcast of Video Star so rapper DinDin can talk to his idol.
