V is popular for a lot of reasons — his unique voice, next-level visuals, amazing personality, and more. But the BTS star admitted that he had always been popular even before he was a part of the biggest boy group on the planet.
ARMYs look up to RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook so much that they reach out to them to ask the boys some good advice. One fan asked V regarding making new friends at her new school.
“Taehyung Oppa, I only have a few days left before I go to school,” she said. “I’m a bit on the timid side, so I don’t know how I should make friends. Please give me some advice!!”
V then shared with the ARMY what he did back in the days to get attention from other students. “When I was transferring schools, I took a pencil case that you can play a game on it, so I was kind of popular,” he said.
This is certainly not the first time that V has given a piece of advice about surviving rough times at school. Previously, a fan also reached out to him to ask if he has a unique method of making friends on the first day of school. Instead of just saying the most usual lines like “be yourself” and “be nice,” V replied to the fan’s concern with a very detailed scenario.
“(Open door) Who’s the most popular here? (Yeah, that’s me) You’re the most popular? Ha… man (take a breath) That’s right, you’re the most popular and I’m the most playful, our characters don’t overlap each other~~ (Smile about 60%, a smile that will show that we don’t share the same position in the class),” V said. “Don’t forget the last victory V at the end. Don’t do it near your face. Shoot out your arm towards them with the V and smile. The end. Over. Perfect. You win.”
V added that the fan should do it just before the teacher comes in. The BTS star then shared another detailed advice.
“If you’re really going to do it, do it 30 seconds before the teacher comes in. (Open door) Teacher: Everyone sit. What’s everyone doing standing up on the first day of class. Sit down, and while the teacher is going over the homeroom stuff, turn around to face the popular kid and give them a slight wink, and you’ll become friends (It has to be a wink of friendship),” V said.
