Tesla cars can do a lot of things, so it isn't really surprising why more and more people are clamoring to own one of Elon Musk's EVs. But now there's one more reason to get all hyped -- you can actually play PC games on the touchscreen of your Model S, Model, 3, or Model X using the Rainway app.

The Rainway app uses the Pulsar engine so you can play games inside a Tesla car without lags. While still on its experimental stage, Rainway CEO Andrew Sampson believes that the app is capable of delivering seamless gaming experience as it uses DirectX 12 for power efficiency and better performance.

Sampson shared the news on Twitter along with a reminder that Tesla owners should only play games when they're parked. Otherwise, your game won't load. Sampson admitted there are still some gamepad issues, but promised they're working on it.

"Our community is full of amazing people who have been pinging @elonmusk about us being in the Tesla entertainment center for over a year now. I'm bringing this energy. I still want to build a native app though," the Rainway CEO wrote.

Rainway is the latest addition to Tesla EVs, making the vehicles more appealing than before. Already, Musk's line of cars is popular for having one of the best infotainment systems in the business.

You can play Xbox One and PS4 games inside a Tesla, thanks to its convenient wired USB capability. There's also "Beach Buggy," which you can play by actually using the car's steering wheel. Of course, you can always choose your favorite on the Tesla Arcade, where "Lost Backgammon," "Star Dew Valley," and "Cuphead" are super popular.

Playing games inside a Tesla car is one way of killing time while you're parked, that is if you're not so much into social media or browsing for weird stuff on the World Wide Web. Musk has been very vocal about his plans to expand the Tesla Arcade's list of games, asking his followers once in a while which titles should be added next. At one point, he asked if "The Witcher" should be next.

If you own a Tesla car, you can download the Rainway app for free and visit play.rainway.com. Sampson has already tried playing "Halo," "Doom," and "Crysis," and while he hasn't detailed the experience, we're willing to bet it's a different kind of experience Tesla owners don't want to miss.
