Kate Middleton's recent trip to the supermarket Sainsbury in Norfolk has highlighted one big fact. Witnesses said that the Duchess of Cambridge had her kids -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis -- in tow and they were quite well-behaved in public.

According to the person who spotted the Cambridges, George and Charlotte didn't make a fuss as their mom browsed the children's clothes in Sainsbury. Kate was carrying Prince Louis in her arms while her other children also looked at some items.

The witness described that Charlotte is a "dead cute" kid. She said that the Duchess of Cambridge also looked beautiful and radiant even as she was only wearing casual clothes and a coat.

There were apparently no photos as proof of the Cambridges' visit to the public supermarket as the witness was told by the protection officer not to take pictures. Still, she could not help but gush about how normal and well-behaved the royal children were.

According to parenting expert Dr. Rebecca Chicot, Kate has an authoritative style of parenting that keeps her kids' behavior in line. She's the type of mom who can reprimand her children in public without necessarily shaming them.

This was evident when Prince George was acting up in public during the wedding of his aunt, Pippa Middleton, in 2017. Kate managed to "shhh" her son as well as softly touch him on the head to nudge him to stop acting up.

The expert said that it's hard for someone like Kate, a very public figure, to parent in public. However, the Duchess of Cambridge is also great at making eye contact and connecting with her kids. Chicot said that it's clear she was a nice connection with George, Charlotte and Louis.

Kate's parenting style is also a bit relax as she allows her kids to be silly and playful. There was one instance when Princess Charlotte let her tongue out to someone in the crowd during a sports event and Kate laughed out loud in amusement. She also values her children's time outdoors as she believes this is great for their physical and mental health.

However, when she's being a serious mom, Kate uses her fingers to tell her kids she means business. That's what happened when Charlotte, then two years old, almost had a meltdown at the airport. Kate was able to quiet her down and stop her tantrum by sitting at her level, talking to her and emphasizing her message with her fingers.
