God Friended Me season 2 episode 18 will be arriving within a few weeks on CBS, with the title "Almost Famous." This episode will highlight Ali's storyline, particularly how she deals with her cancer now that she's a potential candidate for a new drug trial. But then, things may not go well for Miles because of the God Account's friend suggestion, which could jeopardize the treatment.
In God Friended Me season 2 episode 18, Ali feels hopeful after she learns that she's a candidate for a new drug trial to help her with her cancer treatment. However, the God Account sends Miles the name of Kylie; daughter of hospital administrator in charge of the drug trial, Tammy. Miles is reluctant to get involved for fear he could threaten Ali's chances of being accepted into the drug trial.
Ali has already faced a lot of challenges because of her illness. She's been struggling with her current condition, so she's now hoping she'll be part of the drug trial. Thus, Miles doesn't want her sister to lose her chance in the treatment. Yet, he also recognized that he needs to do the God Account's request. He is in a difficult position and needs to make the right choice.
Meanwhile, God Friended Me season 2 episode 18 will not be airing this week and it is set to arrive the following week. Also, there are some guest stars set to appear in this episode, including Person of Interest star Amy Acker. She will be playing the role of Tammy, who may have a huge impact on the lives of Ali and Miles.
As for what happened in the previous episode, Miles received a new friend suggestion from the Good Account, the owner and employees of Harlem Cinema House. Miles and Ali used to go to this old movie theater when they were still young, and while there, they met Mr. Johnson.
He introduced the two to Leo and Haley, and after a while, Miles' latest friend suggestions were Mr. Johnson, Leo, and Haley. Meanwhile, Cara and Rakesh followed Haley after she goes out to meet someone. They're worried because Haley seemed to have a shady past and don't want her to get in trouble.
However, Haley found out they're following her and eventually revealed to them that she stole Mr. Johnson's wife's ring. Since the cinema is on the verge of getting closed, Haley said she felt guilty and wanted to bring back the ring. However, Owen, who bought the ring, refused to give it back.
Later on, Mr. Johnson learned that Haley stole his wife's ring but he still ended up forgiving her. Meanwhile, Rakesh came up with an idea to screen Leo's short-film during the final night of the cinema house. In the end, the gang was able to save the old movie theater from closing.
God Friended Me season 2 episode 18 airs on Sunday night, Mar. 29, on CBS.
