WARNING: This article may contain spoilers for Homeland season 8 episode 7. Read at your own risk.

Homeland season 8 episode 7 will be airing later this week on Showtime, with the title "F... Shot Me." This episode will see some of the characters in a desperate position, particularly Carrie Mathison. She will be in a difficult situation as she found herself dismissed because of the history she had with Yevgeny.

There will be a serious question of trust in Homeland season 8 episode 7, but Carrie will insist that she potentially holds the key to locate Max. Carrie and Yevgeny's relationship is one of the interesting stories in this episode, and if ever Carrie delivers a good result, it could validate all the things that she says.

Carrie has been losing associates since there are a lot of questions regarding her past with Yevgeny in Russia. If ever she proves herself in this week's episode, then there's a chance she'll gain the trust of other people. After all, they are willing to forget everything as long as they see a positive outcome of her actions.

As for what else we can expect in Homeland season 8 episode 7, the cease-fire between the United States and the Taliban seemed to be in danger. Saul thinks that G'ulom may be responsible for the situation which led to the death of two Presidents. It seems like he's now dealing with a government that no longer feels like his own.

In addition, there are questions as to who to trust and some conspiracy theories are lying underneath the surface. There's a possibility that Haqqani might be the fall guy, and if ever G'ulom could find a way to falsify the trial, this could lead to him getting even more what he wants -- and even faster.

Moreover, the episode may also feature a story about how to deal with and cover the death of a president. This is difficult to handle, given that many people know who this person is. Hence, the new President of the United States may give Warner a funeral, though he likely did this to look sympathetic for poll numbers.

Meanwhile, the series is now halfway through its season; there are still six remaining episodes to come. There are a lot of things that should be explored here and since this will be the series' final run, the show may likely answer all the questions from the beginning and will tie all the loose ends to deliver a satisfying conclusion.

Homeland season 8 episode 7 arrives on Sunday night, Mar. 22, on Showtime.
