Even though Jin is not the leader of BTS, he still feels immense responsibility for RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook as the oldest member of the group. Since the younger boys look up to him, Mr. Worldwide Handsome always makes sure to share a positive influence with them.
And although Jin is mostly known for his playful ways, which is why he is dubbed as the “Fake Maknae” of BTS, he knows when to get serious, especially when it comes to his members’ mental health. The 27-year-old singer and songwriter always share his positive vibe and good advice to make the boys feel better.
Here are a few instances when Jin helped his members’ mental health with his positive influence.
1. J-Hope will always be successful
When J-Hope was contemplating about success, Jin assured him that he’s destined to reach what he has now. “ I wonder if I could even be here if it weren’t for being a part of BTS…” J-Hope said. “You would have succeeded no matter what you did,” Jin replied.
2. Jimin is perfect
Jimin is always critical with himself, but Jin reminded him that he’s perfect just the way he is. “I wish I could sing well,” Jimin said. “Jimin you are perfect,” Jin replied.
3. RM is a great leader no matter what
Performing live is not easy, which is why errors and mishaps happen in a lot of concerts, appearances, live broadcasts, and more. During their SBS performance in 2018, RM seemed to not be too happy with his mistake.
“My earpiece fell out and I couldn’t place it back correctly. So I think I fell short. For the concert, I’ll have it sorted out and do better,” RM said. “Well, I heard you and you did fine. RM is not the kind of person who gets hindered by some technical glitch. He’s too good. I truly respect our leader, RM.” Jin shared.
4. V will not be embarrassed alone
When BTS graced the red carpet for the Golden Disc Award earlier this year, V suddenly tripped and fell on the floor. After realizing what happened, Jin instantly dropped to his knees.
Jin previously shared something life-changing during his V Live broadcast on his birthday last December 3 that ARMYs will never forget. “If we all gather our embarrassment together, it'll become confidence,” Jin said.
So after seeing V’s embarrassing moment at the Golden Disc Award red carpet, Jin decided to join him so he wouldn’t feel so awkward about it.
