After his former WANNA ONE member Ong Seong Wu made an appearance on Running Man, its Kang Daniel's turn to join the gang of Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Kim Jong-kook, Song Jihyo, Yang Se Chan and Jeon So Min while Lee Kwangsoo is still sidelined by his injury.
According to a report by All Kpop, Kang Daniel will be appearing in Running Man for an upcoming episode.
While production has not made a statement, sources reportedly confirmed that the charismatic idol has finished filming for his second guest appearance on the show which will air for the March 22 episode. The last time Kang Daniel appeared for the show was in November 2017. He has since made appearances on variety shows like Knowing Bros., My Little Old Boy, Coffee Friends, and Master Key.
Kang Daniel is expected to promote his new album Cyan which will be released on March 24. The album represents a meaningful comeback for Kang Daniel after he took a brief hiatus owing to anxiety and depression.
Based on the release plan for Cyan, KONNECT Entertainment will be accepting pre-orders for the upcoming mini-album starting March 11, followed by a special trailer, concept photos, a tracklist, an album highlight medley, MV teaser, in the lead up to Kang Daniel's full comeback on March 24 at 6 PM KST.
Apart from his music comeback, Kang Daniel recently revealed that he will be headlining his own travel reality show entitled Hello Daniel, which chronicles his journey as a normal 25-year-old, and not as a celebrity in a meaningful journey through Portland, Oregon.
In an interview, Kang Daniel explained that he learned a lot while doing the travel show for SBS Medianet. He also talked about the pressure of headlining the project on his own.
"I learned to take it easy. I think I also became thankful for the small things. There are things you can only see if you walk slowly. Rather than focusing on what kind of person I am, I want to become someone who asks myself what kind of life I'll lead in the future as Kang Daniel. I think there will be no end to finding the true Kang Daniel," he said.
Kang Daniel also made some changes to his official social media account and said that his personal Instagram account will be @daniel.k.here while all posts pertaining to promotions will be handled by the label through @kangdaniel.official_.
