TWICE member Nayeon has withdrawn the restraining order against her German stalker despite earlier statement from him that he will return to South Korea. TWICE's agency JYP Entertainment confirmed that the singer decided to take back the order but they are still taking legal action against the stalker.

JYP confirmed that the restraining order has been withdrawn but not the criminal case. The agency explained that the order has been rescinded since it can no longer be served as the stalker is no longer in the country. However, it will take effect again once Nayeon's stalker enters South Korea and he will get arrested.

"Measures have been taken so that when the stalker arrives in Korea, the Immigration Service will contact the police department in charge and have him taken directly from the airport," JYP said.

Nayeon's stalker, a German national named Josh, became famous after he revealed himself on social media and expressed his love to the TWICE member. He followed the singer to the group's activities, even outside the country.

It can be recalled that earlier this year, Nayeon posted on Instagram Stories a cryptic message while onboard an airplane from Japan to South Korea. The message suggested that the stalker managed to get on the same flight with TWICE.

It was later revealed that Josh approached Nayeon while onboard the airplane. JYP revealed that there had been a commotion on the plane after some staff members barred Josh from approaching Nayeon.

This prompted the label to file a restraining order and criminal charges, saying the incident caused anxiety to Nayeon. The 24-year-old Korean singer was also placed under police protection after the incident. JYP said Josh was warned several times to stop following Nayeon but he ignored the warning.

So far, Josh's Twitter account has been suspended while his YouTube channel, where he usually posts his videos for Nayeon, remains active. However, he disabled the comment section after he received backlash from netizens.

However, a month ago, Josh expressed his desire to return to Korea despite the restraining order. In a disturbing clip he posted on social media, Nayeon's stalker said he came up with another plan on how to convey his message to the singer despite the restraining order but apparently, his plan needs his physical presence in Korea.

Meanwhile, TWICE fans expressed concern to Nayeon but said they understand why the restraining order has been rescinded. Some hope that the ongoing travel restrictions between countries because of the coronavirus will prohibit Josh from traveling back to Korea.
