The reality star just recently launched her Kylie Skin series. The product line includes almost all popular items that can be found in one's skincare regime, with her latest, Kylie Skin Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Face Sunscreen, which will be released just in time for the summer.
The brand's sunscreen line is already established. Kylie Jenner has been largely marketing her products, including especially the Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Oil.
However, she was recently caught using another brand's sunscreen to prep her curvy figure under the sun. As confirmed, it was one of Banana Boat's body sunscreen sprays.
According to Allure, Kylie Jenner posted a series of photos and clips on Instagram during her quick vacation in Palm Springs. In the set, she was captured spraying the body sunscreen all over her body.
The 22-year-old celebrity even encouraged everyone to "wear" sunscreen as it is an important part of one's skincare regime. But, fans and followers were quick to notice that the product she was using was not one of her own.
The report said that this caused "confusion" among the avid followers of the celebrity, which prompted many to ask her in the comments why she was not using Kylie Skin's sunscreen products. While some were seemingly genuinely curious, others were immediately critical. As a result, Kylie Jenner was also criticized for not using her own products.
In a similar report released by Daily Mail, readers left comments stating that it was not shocking to know that even herself, as the owner of the products, does not use them. "She knows all of her products are crap," one stated.
Despite the overflowing comments filled with either criticisms or support, Kylie Jenner took the time to respond to one of her fans' questions about the sunscreen. As reported, she cleared out that she was "out of town," and her mother, Kris Jenner is a "hater" of her sunscreen, which is why there was no Kylie Skin sunscreen available in the area.
Although for some fans and followers, Kylie's response made sense, this still did not change other's opinions that "even Kylie" knows her products are "crap."
