Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been living a private life in their Vancouver Island mansion. Since the crisis talk of the Megxit deal concluded, the Sussex couple reportedly enjoys a "low-key" lifestyle in the area.
However, several reports noted that this mansion in Canada is just "temporary." As it happens, the Duke and Duchess were said to be still looking at houses, especially in Southern California.
Based on assertions made by previous reports, pals of the couple revealed that they are looking for homes in Los Angeles. Aside from the fact that the Duchess' mother, Doria Ragland lives in LA, this is also where Meghan grew up. So, it is not surprising why they would want to spend some of their time in the said city.
But, recent claims suggest that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are now eyeing mansions in Malibu, west of Los Angeles. As per Hello! magazine, the specific mansion that they are looking after is the Petra Manor, where Kylie Jenner used to live. The magazine also revealed that it was Caitlyn Jenner, who primarily released the information about the Sussex couple's home search.
It was shared that the mansion worth £5.4 million or about $7 million. Petra Manor reportedly features eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, an indoor cinema, a dance studio, a wine cellar, a bar, a resort-like swimming pool, and a tennis court.
While the mansion will be very fitting for the "royal trio" to live in, the magazine still pointed out why it is an ideal home for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. As explained, if they choose to live in Petra Manor, they will be much closer to Los Angeles.
Aside from Doria Ragland, the Sussex family will also get to be near Hollywood. Not to mention, this is the place where Princess Diana reportedly hoped to raise her two sons.
Although it is possible that they are truly eyeing Kylie Jenner's former home in Malibu, no confirmations have been made about the matter. Nevertheless, Perez Hilton released a similar report claiming that the Petra Manor has caught the eyes of the Duke and Duchess.
However, the publication attested that they are only looking at the estate as they are finding homes where they can spend their summer vacation. It was also explained that Kylie Jenner did not live in the mansion. Rather, she just used to rent the property to spend some of her breaks.
