As Prince Harry is far from his royal family in the U.K., there are reports the Duke of Sussex is worried about Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles' health amidst the coronavirus outbreak. However, Her Majesty is said to have invited her grandson, along with his wife, Meghan Markle, to join her at her Balmoral residence before everything of this happened.
In an episode of New Idea's ROYALS podcast, Zoe Burrell and royal commentator Angela Mollard talked about the "real move for unity" and the reason behind the monarch's olive branch. She said Her Royal Highness seemed to be working "very, very hard" to make sure that Prince Harry wouldn't feel isolated.
"I think he wants to do the right thing," Mollard added. The invitation reportedly came not long after the Sussexes responded to Queen Elizabeth's decision to ban them from using the word royal in their brand. With the invite, it just showed that Prince Harry, his grandmother, and Meghan Markle were all working hard to have some unity.
"Obviously, at the moment, unity is the whole flavor of what we're supposed to be working towards," Mollard continued to say. If ever Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex accepted the Queen's invite, it would be an exciting sight to see who among the royal family members would also be there.
There's a big possibility Prince William and Kate Middleton would also visit Queen Elizabeth at her Balmoral residence with their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. However, the question is if they would meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, might also be there.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if the invite will push through as a lot of countries are in a lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now self-isolating in Canada. The sixth in line to the throne is believed to be exposed to people who also became close to others who turned to be Covid-19 positive.
The former actress allegedly told her friends that her husband feels helpless and is concerned about Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles catching the virus. A source told Daily Mail that the pair is grateful that they had spent time with the royal family before all of these happened.
Prince Harry is said to be in constant communication with Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth. At this time, he urged both of them to stay safe and take extra precautions.
