If super-agent Mino Raiola has his way, he intends to bring "a great player" to Real Madrid and he will make it happen this summer. The Italian, however, stopped short of naming specific names but if the recent rumors are to be believed, the guesswork could easily lead to Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba.

Haaland has been the subject of transfer speculations coming from the Spanish giants as both the Los Blancos and Barcelona are reportedly looking to snatch the prolific goalscorer from Borussia Dortmund. In particular, the Bernabeu side is seen to be boosted by the talent of the young Norwegian but according to Raiola, he sees Haaland sharpening his skills in Bundesliga for now.

"He has a lot to improve yet. He'll be at Dortmund for as long as he needs to be ... I don't think he'll be leaving Dortmund this summer," the agent told Marca in an interview.

"It's true that he is a footballer who is anticipating the stages of growth faster than you might think," Raiola said.

Which then brings the attention to Pogba, who has a struggling season with the Red Devils due to injury woes. The Frenchman only played seven times with the English club so far and talks of him leaving once the term ends continue to swirl.

Interests are coming from Paris Saint-Germain and the World Cup winner's previous team, Juventus, is also in consideration. But Real Madrid could be the next destination for the United striker since Zinedine Zidane is said to be relentless on his effort to get Pogba to his side.

If this is the case, it appears that Raiola is willing to help out and make it easier for the French boss to upgrade his strike force for next season.

"I definitely want to take a great player to Real Madrid, and I will try to do so this summer ... It would be a source of pride for me and my players because Real Madrid are a great club," the agent said.

Raiola is convinced he can talk good business with the Spanish giants because "my relationship with Los Blancos is very good. I am in contact with Jose Angel [Sanchez] and I love discussing football with him."

Metro said Pogba is back in training while the Premier League season is on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak.

"The 27-year-old ... is working his way back to full fitness to play a part in the latter stages of the season," said the report.

According to Raiola, his client is having a tough time but "is focused on making a great end to the season with Manchester United."

The Italian assured: "He wants to get back into the team and make a great end to the season and that United can reach the Champions League."
