Gone were the days when all idols are extremely thin. Although most of the K-pop stars are still on the slim side, many are opting for a more athletic built like RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
Although Jin may not be as active in the gym as Jungkook, Mr. Worldwide Handsome has proven many times that he can beat the golden maknae and everyone else with his strength.
Being the visual of BTS, Jin can be considered as a “flower boy” — someone who his pretty and dainty. But don’t let his gorgeous face fool you.
Here are 7 times Jin proved he’s a lot stronger than you think.
1. Jin outdid Jungkook in push-ups
Push-ups had always been Jin’s go-to exercise. Since he practically raised Jungkook, he taught him to make this a habit as well. However, Mr. Worldwide Handsome is just too good and too strong for the golden maknae. (Watch the clips here, here, and here).
2. Jin begged Jungkook to do more sets
After doing push-ups, Jin told Jungkook to do squats with him and the young one obliged. But after the set, Jin wanted to do more but Jungkook already had enough that day and walked away from him. (Watch the clips here and here).
3. Jin easily beat J-Hope in the pushing game
Jin pushed J-Hope so hard that the rapper almost flew across the room. Luckily for him, V was there to prevent his fall. (Watch the clip here).
4. Jin carried V away
Despite being a full-grown man, Jin made V look like a toddler when he effortlessly carried him away. (Watch the clip here).
5. Jin carried Jimin on his shoulders
Jin is definitely one of the most playful members of BTS and he loves being active with the rest of the boys. So while on a beach, Jin didn’t just run alone, he ran while carrying Jimin on his shoulders. (Watch the clip here).
6. Not one, but two
Since one member is too light for Jin’s strength, he carried both Jimin and Jungkook on his back for a quick snap without breaking a sweat. (Check out the photo here).
7. Arm wrestling
Knowing Jin’s strength, Jungkook only agreed to arm wrestle him if he’ll use his left hand. In the end, Jin still won the battle. (Watch the clip here).
