Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to spend the summer with Queen Elizabeth. They will be bringing along their son, Archie Harrison, in his first-ever summer romp with the royal family.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex accepted the Queen's invitation to stay in her Scotland home for a fun family time in the summer. This will likely take place after the Trooping Colour celebration in June.

During the summertime, Queen Elizabeth and the royal family enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. Princess Eugenie said that her childhood summers in the Queen's estate have been the happiest as it includes lots picnics with the dogs and walks within the royals' vast estate.

In her younger years, Queen Elizabeth spent the summer riding her horses or driving the rugged terrains of her estate. According to The Sun, the royals also have different outdoor sporting activities like fly fishing and grouse hunting, which they play together with the household staff and servants.

Prince Harry hunted with his kin several times before and will likely be thrilled to have Archie learn the ropes, according to The Sun. Meghan, nevertheless, might not enjoy this type of summer activities as an animal activist.

Meghan, somehow, might love the dancing that happens in Balmoral. Queen Elizabeth used to be very nimble on the dance floor, according to some of their former staff.

Royal expert Julie Rierden said that Balmoral is where Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family enjoy a "normal existence." They even help around the house even if there are staffs and servants.

Summers also mean a lot of barbecues and there will be plenty in Balmoral. However, Prince Harry and Meghan might also have a bit of quiet time in this summer place since they will likely be staying at separate lodges or castles within the estate.

The Sussexes will also get to enjoy the Queen's summer traditions, which are pretty laidback and basic. Apparently, she loves watching old TV shows that are catalogued and prepared by her staff before she arrives.

However, the Queen's summer plan and the Sussex family's visit could be jeopardized by the global health pandemic. Sources said, that Prince Harry and Meghan are "desperately hoping" that they will still be able to make their trip by that time.

The insider said that everyone is being mindful especially with the state of health of Queen Elizabeth and the older members of the royal family. Those over 60 years old are more at risk from COVID-19 and have been advised by the government to limit their movements and public appearances.
