Queen Elizabeth once lectured a very young Princess Eugenie when she accidentally hurt her grandmother during summer in Balmoral. In a recently unearthed video from 1992, the Queen can be seen telling off her little granddaughter when she wasn't aware that she stepped on her grandmother's foot.

Like any grandmother, Queen Elizabeth spends some quality time with her grandkids. She especially looks forward to the whole family trooping to her summer home in Balmoral.

One summer occasion, the Queen was helping Princess Beatrice, then four years old, mount atop a pony so that she could learn to ride, as this was the Queen's favorite thing to do. Next to the little princess was her sister, Princess Eugenie, who was not aware that she stepped on Queen Elizabeth's foot.

The documentary Elizabeth R: A Year in the Life of the Queen showed Her Majesty letting out a big cry following what had just happened. She then lightly told Princess Eugenie that she was standing on her.

The toddler, however, still appeared to have no idea she inched closer to her grandmother. The Queen then took her hand and asked her other grandkids where they should head to with the horses.

Also seen in the video was Prince William, who was about ten years old. He was leading Princess Beatrice's pony. Meanwhile, Prince Harry, who was eight, and Zara, who was 11, were also riding their horses ahead of the pack.

The documentary showed how much the Queen loved spending time with her grandchildren. The Queen also spoke in the documentary to say that her grandkids really love to spend their summers in Balmoral. Queen Elizabeth said that they feel a sense of freedom in this summer home, and there are also endless activities to do without disturbing anyone else.

Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie recently ended her silence on social media as she posted a photo on Wednesday to commemorate the two years since she announced her engagement to Jack Brooksbank, who is now her husband. The post has since earned nearly 150,000 likes on Instagram, as many of the princess's followers wondered why she hasn't updated for more than two months.

Some speculate that Princess Eugenie has been staying off the limelight amid the controversy of her father, Prince Andrew. Commenters on the York princess's Instagram said that they were happy to see her back and that they still love her despite the negative news about her father's ties to the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
