First Lady Melania Trump sent her son, Barron Trump, a simple birthday greeting on Twitter last March 20. The message was actually quite discreet as Melania referred to her only son by his name's initials.

"Happy Birthday BWT," was what the FLOTUS wrote for her birthday greeting to Barron. Her message included three heart emojis and a photo of the number 14.

Critics of Melania, however, mocked her for her birthday greeting. One user on Twitter asked why Melania couldn't even spell her son's name. Another user was sarcastic at Melania and mocked her "celebrating 14 weeks of coronavirus."

Still, one other Twitter user didn't appreciate the fact that Melania had to wish her son a happy birthday using her official White House social media account. Another netizen implied feeling sorry for the teenager and it wasn't Barron's fault who his parents are.

Melania's birthday greeting to Barron comes as her Public Service Address (PSA) about the coronavirus went live on social media. According to CNN, the First Lady recorded two PSAs about this public health crisis.

In the first PSA, released on Thursday, Melania assured the public that this is not how life will be amid the spread of COVID-19. The first lady said that people can stay connected despite the quarantines or lockdowns with the help of technologies.

The following day, the second PSA had Melania addressing parents of the America on how families can stay healthy despite the disruption brought on by the pandemic. Melania talked about the proper way to wash hands, social distancing and limiting touching.

The first lady also said that parents should assure their kids that life will be normal again. She also encourages the public to keep a positive attitude and create fun times together despite this crisis.

The virus COVID-19 is now present all over the world over after the outbreak began in China sometime in December. There are now over 33,000 positive cases in the United States, with New York, Washington and California having the most numbers of infected.

Meanwhile, People reported that Melania and Barron are staying at the White House amid the quarantine. Ivanka Trump, her husband and kids are also in the country's capital and are back at work in the White House while practicing social distancing.

The president's other children Donald Jr. and Eric are understood to be self-isolating with their respective kids. Eric shared a post from Palm Beach, where the family resort is based. Trump's other daughter, Tiffany, is believed to be in Georgetown where she is studying law.
