Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been rarely seen in public events since they announced and decided to step down as senior members of the royal family yet the gossip about them continues. The latest of it is that Meghan is allegedly furious of Queen Elizabeth II for snubbing her during the Commonwealth Day service recently.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to England from Canada to fulfill their last public engagements before they officially let go of royal life. Earlier this month, the couple attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey along with the rest of the family. The National Enquirer, however, accused the Queen of snubbing the couple and Meghan was furious about it.

A source of the tabloid claimed Queen Elizabeth demanded his grandson, Harry, and his wife, Meghan to attend the event as their last official duty as working royals but she cut them out of the procession. The insider alleged that the Sussex were forced to walk to their seats in the second row behind Prince Charles and Camilla, and Prince William and Kate Middleton. This allegedly upset Meghan.

"Meghan was furious - this was a huge blow to her ego... She demanded to know why William and Kate - who Meghan can't stand! - were walking with the queen but not them," the source said.

Gossip Cop stressed that the National Enquirer story is complete nonsense and those who are not familiar with the royal family customs are the only ones who will believe the tabloid's article. It said that what happened during the Commonwealth Day service was all in accordance with the royal protocol.

Queen Elizabeth and the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is the head of the Church of England, walked into the service. Prince Charles, who is the heir to the throne, and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, walked right behind the reigning monarch.

Prince William, the second in the line to the throne, and Kate Middleton were already seated when the entourage arrived. They were seated next to Prince Charles. Gossip Cop clarified that Prince William and Kate did not join the procession with the queen as the tabloid claimed.

It is true that Prince Harry and Meghan sat in the second row but it was not a snub at all. Gossip Cop noted that this was the ceremony practice and it was exactly the same seating arrangement as last year. The only difference this year is that the Sussexes were not seated next to Prince Andrew.

After the service, Queen Elizabeth led the family out of the abbey. She was followed by Prince Charles and Camilla, then Prince William and kate. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were then followed by Prince Harry and Meghan just like in the service last year

Everything that happened during Harry and Meghan's last official royal engagement was based on royal protocol. The publication noted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex know this hence it is ridiculous to claim that the Suits actress was upset with the Queen for not including her on the procession.
