When China shutdown Wuhan to contain the novel coronavirus in the early part of Jan. 2020, the world never really paid attention. But, when the COVID-19 infected and killed people outside China at an unprecedented rate, almost everyone becomes germophobe. In this article, we share with you some COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting hack to make sure that you can protect yourself and your loved ones from the deadly novel coronavirus.

Cleaning And Disinfecting Your Smartphones And Gadgets

Experts recommend the use of Colorex or similar products, which contains 70 percent isopropyl alcohol to disinfect smartphones and gadgets. Some discourage the use of alcohol because it could cause damage to the display of the smartphone and also on its ports. Others advise using disinfectant wipes to make sure that aside from disinfecting the smartphone screen is also protected from potential damage.

Consumers must refrain from using bleaches, abrasives, and sprays as these chemicals have a greater chance of damaging the screen of the smartphone. If those mentioned earlier are not available, you can use a soft cloth with alcohol and use it to clean the smartphone and other gadgets. There are also mobile phone sanitizers and cleaning kits available in the market today.

These kinds of cleaners are usually sold per kit or pack and come with a cloth and a cleaning solution. When picking the right smartphone cleaning kit, make sure that it contains chemicals or compounds that could kill viruses and bacteria. There are also infrared disinfecting pods that are now available in the market.
