BTS has said multiple times that they wouldn’t be where they are right now if it wasn’t for their fans. While most celebrities who reached the superstardom status have forgotten where they came from, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook always remember how it all started.

Thanks to ARMYs, BTS is now living their dreams. And because of that, the boys feel immense gratitude towards the fans and they would do anything to let ARMYs know how much they love and appreciate them. And on Sunday, March 22, BTS took to social media to share a message of hope during the global health crisis and reflected on how important the presence of their fans was.

“We want to thank the nursing officers, medical staff and everyone battling this virus to protect the safety and lives of the people,” J-Hope said. "We realize more than ever how meaningful our everyday life was. Standing on a stage facing empty seats, we realize how precious each moment with you was,” Jin added.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were not able to spend time with ARMYs during their much-awaited comeback as social distancing and self-quarantine is being suggested and implemented not only in South Korea but all around the world.

“COVID-19 has shut down travel, and people are keeping their distance from each other. I think the hardest thing may be that we are feeling more and more isolated,” Suga said. “But guys, we are connected closely and we share both pain and joy. If we have the courage and will to overcome anything, I’m sure we’ll succeed with the power of our connection,” Jimin assured.

“These are times we need trust more than doubt, care more than anger. As citizens of Korea and of the world, BTS will face this challenge together with all of you,” Jungkook shared. I hope soon we’ll again be able to see those we love, share a meal and talk together. I hope soon we’ll sing and be happy together with you,” V said.

RM then ended the message by asking everyone to be patient. “Let’s all wait for things to return to normal, and do our best where we are." The BTS leader also revealed in the very first part of the video that the cadets of the Korea Armed Forces Nursing Academy have chosen them to make this video to support the fight against COVID-19. The group then chose global soccer star and Korean legend Son Heung-min to continue the message of hope in the next video.
