SEAL Team season 3 episode 17 is scheduled to arrive next week on CBS, with the title "Drawdown." This episode will see the Bravo Team spending most of their time in Afghanistan. One of the characters will also be given a spotlight within this episode, as he needs to deal with some of his personal issues.
In SEAL Team season 3 episode 17, the Bravo Team starts their deployment in Afghanistan during peace negotiations. The team will spend three months in this country; a long mission that could be challenging to some of them.
But although their situation could create some heated arguments along the way, they also recognized that this is part of their job. The Bravo Team is aware they need to do whatever is asked from them, and now that they're in Afghanistan, they had to deal with a dangerous mission.
As for what else is coming on SEAL Team season 3 episode 17, Sonny will be reporting to an Air Force base in Texas. He needs to serve his disciplinary training action, and while there, he'll get reacquainted with his childhood friend, Hannah.
Sonny was able to reunite with someone from his past, so their story might be explored here. In addition, Hannah could likely help Sonny on some level. He's been dealing through a lot as of late and meeting his childhood friend might be a refresher for him.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is directed by one of the cast members, Max Thieriot. He will be directing "Drawdown," which could allow him to show off more of his creative side. While this isn't the first time Thieriot directed an episode, this marks his first time directing an episode for the CBS series.
In another related report, SEAL Team halted its production -- just like other CBS shows -- due to COVID-19 concerns. Although there are still a lot of episodes it air, it seems like filming is now done. Series star David Boreanaz confirmed via Twitter they're done working on the final episode at the time filming was halted.
If ever, the unfinished episodes might be part of the fourth installment. But, it's worth noting that the series hasn't been renewed at the moment. Still, many were certain the series is coming back for more, given that it continues delivering solid ratings.
SEAL Team season 3 episode 17 airs on Wednesday night, Apr. 1, on CBS.
